Etiquette in Zimbabwe

The nation is a dominant-party presidential republic.

There are 16 official languages, but English is the primary language used in public systems such as education.

Most Zimbabweans follow Christianity.

Currency used in Zimbabwe is the U.S. dollar, South African rand, and other currencies.

Gifts aren’t always given in business, but will be appreciated if it’s something from one’s home country.

Unless you are encouraged to open a gift in public, expect to do so in private.

Avoid hissing, licking the lips, or sticking your tongue out.

Don’t talk with your hands in your pockets, as this is viewed as being a rude thing to do.
