Use both hands to shake and bow at the same time during greetings. Be careful not to bow too quickly. Say hello as you bow. You’ll be expected to give a detailed introduction regarding your background.

Do not take photos without first requesting permission from the guide you’ve been assigned to. North Korea has strict laws regarding photography. You should presume you can’t photograph any building with a police officer or soldier in front of it.
