Etiquette in Sweden

Sweden is located within northern Europe in Scandinavia and has a population of 9.9 million people.

The nation is a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy.

The official language of Sweden is Swedish.

The currency of Sweden is the Swedish krona.

It would be unusual to give gifts at the start of a business relationship. Social events are the exception. Bring chocolate, liquor, wine, or cake, and perhaps a small gift for the children. Flowers to avoid include orchids, red roses, white lilies, and chrysanthemums.

If you receive a gift, open when you receive it.

You are more likely to be invited for coffee and cake than for a full meal. However, if you are invited for either event, you should be exactly punctual, neither late, nor early.

European dining etiquette is the custom in Sweden.

Try to eat all the food on your plate. At the same time, don’t take the final helping on a plate.
