Dr. Mark Munoz holds an MBA and PhD in Management. He is a professor of International Business at the Millikin University in Illinois, and a Visiting Scholar at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Dr. Munoz is also the Chairman of international management consulting firm, Munoz and Associates International, a firm that facilitates business development, marketing, and finance in emerging markets.
He has authored four books on the theme of globalization: Land of My Birth (a socio-political analysis of the Philippines), Winning Across Borders (based on a 35-country study on the impact of globalization on business), In Transition (immigrant life in America), and A Salesman in Asia (memoir and strategic selling approaches for Asia-Pacific).
His current research interest is international entrepreneurship, where he has written articles that have been published in journals such as International Entrepreneurship Management Journal, Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, and International Journal of Management among others.
Dr. Munoz is active in the international business community. He is a member of the Academy of International Business and serves as member of the editorial board of two international business journals : the Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development, and International Journal of Management Entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Board of Directors for two international companies.
Dr. Munoz is a multiple award-winning professional. As an author and researcher, he has received a literary and cultural excellence writing award, three Best Research Paper Awards in international conferences, and a Research and Artistic Achievement Award. As a professor, he has received a Teaching Excellence Award and an Innovation in Teaching Award. He is currently listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
