Greeting Etiquette

People of the same gender shake with their right hand and show respect by holding their wrist with the left hand. In mixed company, men should wait for a woman to offer to shake hands before making any assumptions. Sometimes a bow or nod will be performed instead.

Other Etiquette

Don’t make the “okay” hand gesture, the gesture in which one makes a circle by touching the thumb to the finger. It’s rude.
