Business Etiquette

Be on time, even if you are made to wait when you arrive.

Topics may wander and small topic is welcome. Don’t be put off by interruptions.

You should feel free to be the person who ends the meeting, as your host may be afraid to be seen as rude for ending the discussion first.

Dress Etiquette

Men tend to wear suits, though some concessions to the weather and the industry are made. It may be acceptable to not wear a tie in some situations, and in hot weather a man may choose not to wear a suit jacket.

Women usually wear dresses or skirts that are knee-length. One’s shoulders should be covered.
